Can’t argue with that, Let’s break the cycle.

RESET
Spot on
Je programme en français
Bonjour t.co/9sebD9hvyf
Day 11/ We've landed a series of changes and more compute to very significantly decrease the occurrence of the disruptive "Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model". When it does happen, it should also eventually just continue by itself and not just block on it. Let us know if you still see it out there in the wild and we'll take a look.
Nice. Will fix
Done and dusted t.co/0fehr43VS4
I believe it is shown at the bottom of your screenshot 🤡 But seriously, when do you need this?
Oh Zach, let’s improve this. You look rad today
If you’re not a bit afraid of your army, it’s not a good army
Landing within the next 2 hours
The reports of my reset button being lost are greatly exaggerated Day 10/ Reset

RESET
Legit how I look like. Must have trained on my face data
Day 9/ We've rolled out optimizations to how we store state on disk for the chatgpt & codex desktop app that should reduce the amount stored on disk by 60%. Small ship but we've heard enough feedback about power users running out of disk space.
Good plans are simple. I have one that should result in significantly more usage for everyone. Hope to get it done soon.
Mashed @poteto on the house.
What would you like with your side of reset? It's done. t.co/gpNaB6otgy
Carrot
How much did they pay you
Nice
I think we could ship absolutely nothing and be fine. But we will ship pretty insane things instead.
Perhaps I shall try to explain. There are significant differences between the 6.1 generation and prior models and therefore the optimal defaults are different between GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol. And even for 6.1 Sol we wanted to be careful with the change and make sure we felt good about the results. We do now and therefore we changed it.
No worries. Cooking up a solution
Alex, kindly. The world is big and fun out there. We’re in SF, just saying.
Global reset landing by EOD PST time. Enjoy
Day 8/ Reset

250 tokens per *second* (TPS)!
Solid step towards world peace
We tune these carefully
We made it cheaper and tuned it to the new recommended level. You can always change settings, but defaults exist for a reason.
Neither. It's all about coding by hand these days
The results of this poll has gotten me confused. I definitely thought it would sway much more favorably in the 2X direction across Pro 100/200/500 at the cost of bringing back 5h limits in order to smoothen the demand curve. t.co/zwn7kboMhT
We're all proud of you @birdabo. Thank you for solving this one, hadn't thought about it

RESET
With this change, we are not charging long context fees for GPT-6.1 Sol when drawing usage from the subscription.
Day 7/ We have increased default context length for GPT-6.1 Sol to 500k when used through Codex & Work, up from 272k or an ~ 80% increase. We will go higher in the future, but it helps reduce occurrence of compactions and with tasks that require keeping a lot of context and nuance over periods of time. It was carefully tested and is the new sweet spot for most of our users. You can still override it if you want to be higher our lower, with maximum context length of GPT-6.1 Sol of 1M.
Pro users, would you rather have
You are doing more math than I am
Dare you to invite everyone to a party
Put the reset in the bag. All propagated. t.co/HGxaD3Zdcj
Actually had a nightmare about this
1M dots running and doing things for their users
The day we reach perfection it will be resets from there onwards t.co/I6A9WHOjXT
Buy something nice
That’s right, no more ships
Might as well just post it here t.co/ZGHpL9JLbX
